Peripheral Osteoma of the Mandible: A Case Report

Abstract

|
|
This case report is to present an uncommon case of peripheral osteoma in mandible. A 67-year-old woman was referred to our department complaining of a slow-growing mass in the oral cavity and feeling irritation by the mass. The lesion was the well-defined, rounded, pedunculated mass in the panoramic radiograph and computed tomography. Successful removal of osteoma by surgical excision was observed in the post-operative panoramic radiograph.
